I live in an area where literally everyone has a Costco card.  Going to Costco seems to be at least a monthly event for me and all of my friends.  Why Costco?  Costco lets us get the products that we use the most at wholesale prices.

I have had a Costco card for as long as I can remember.  The only thing that I haven’t appreciated about Costco is the fact that you can’t use a credit card there.  Then, a few years ago, a Costco employee told me that they had teamed up with American Express and now you could use your American Express card to pay for your purchases.

Well, that would be great.  But, I only had a Visa card.  I forgot about the fact that you can use American Express cards, until my friends started talking about their American Express cards.

My friends kept talking about how great their American Express cards were.  Most of them had the Costco American Express card.  They kept saying that they had never dealt with a credit card company that treated them as well as American Express did and they never had the chance to earn as many rewards as with the TrueEarnings card.

I decided to try it out for myself.  I did a bit of research online about the Costco American Express card, talked it over with my wife and by the end of the day, we were filling out an application.

The application only took a matter of minutes to complete.  We got approved quickly and also received our cards quickly.  It didn’t take me long to realize that my friends were right about the Costco American Express card.

The Costco American Express card simplified my life by combining my credit card and my Costco membership.  Also, it lets me earn cash back on all of my gas purchases, restaurant purchases, travel purchases, and more.  All in all, it was definitely worth signing up for the Costco American Express card.  I have already saved money and earned cash back.  What could be better than that?
