Capital One Credit Card Review
July 21, 2008 – 9:31 pmI’ve been very pleased with my Capital One credit cards and the customer service Capital One has given me over the life of the card. I initially got this card for the 0% interest rate which allowed me to ring up all of my purchases for 12 months on the 0% while I saved an equal amount in a high interest savings account. This yielded a double bonus for me as while I was allowed to save money with the interest from the account and start redeeming the perks afforded me in the form of miles on the card.
In the first year I have been able to get a flight home to Colorado and start accruing more miles for another free trip home sometime next year. The customer service that I mentioned has also played a big role in my happiness with this card, they keep me updated of my reward miles every few months via email and anytime something fishy has shown up on my card the customer service department has quickly helped me identify it and in one case reversed the charge with very little paperwork.
